  Hello Mike, I have a box that's filled with 2N2222 transistors and various
resistors. When the top of the box is open, sitting next to my radios. I
stare into the box for hours on end.
 Its exciting. Really adds to the whole ham radio experience thing. When
that box is open and close by, there's no need to do FT-8 cause I'm
never bored.

we all have the experience 

I look at trees

all the trees that have broken antenna wires hanging about

I think about getting on some irons and climbing up and fixing them

I then go into a quiet room and fall asleep
