Hello SOCers,
TM0SOC has been activated during the EU HF Contest last Saturday, "leisure
style" (i.e. not "hard core contester").
A lot of fun. And some stations calling "agn?" due to the unusual prefix.
>From time to time I had to repeat "TM0SOC" as only "M0SOC" was copied.
Ryan, G5CL, if you read this: you may received some QSLs for me! :p
Speaking of QSLs : the log is uploaded to LoTW, Clublog & hamlog.ru.
165 Qs logged, 1 dupe. Log submitted. 100% sure I have miscopied some
reports, but that is part of the SOC way of doing it. So, final result will
be lower than claimed but at least TM0SOC will be in the charts.
Sunday has been a good time to log some extra Qs with various countries.
SOC is in the air.
Next appearance, according to schedule, is next w/end (10-11th of Aug) for
the WAE DX Contest.
Let's hope propagation will be a bit better than last w/end, thus allowing
some contacts over the Big Pond.
I am not good at staying on a given frequency calling CQ, hence mostly
running "S&P" during any contest. Nevertheless, I will try to make some
tries CQing around 14055-14060 KHz. I may post a mesg on this list when
doing so, at least to get a chance to work some of you (outside Europe this
time, as such are the rules for the WAE DX).
73 & less,
Claude, F5PBL - #503
