Not much call for books on toobs and discrete transistor circuits these 
days.  Even the programming stuff involved punched tape and cards.  I 
imagine the analog computer stuff would be the most confusing and 
anachronistic of them all.  Then there were the mandatory slide rule 
class and design drafting course with lead holders, t-squares and inked 
compasses . . . good gawd I'm older than dirt.
