Thanks for all the good answers on sprints and contests. Me have a better
resolvency on the situation. Just stay out of contests but spint to the can
or kitchen, then turn in a log, umm, don't ask me on that one. Could be a
chicken bone or a used chicken.
But all those answers put a bright light on the topic, and its nice to
know I'm in a similar crowd of folks. I think that's what distinguishes us
second class ops from first class, we have more varied answers, and that
always gives more leeway to entering our logs. Its like baseball, they
always have the world series for the best teams, but why don't they have a
series for the few worst teams. More people would watch that then the
others. We'd be counting errors and watching the dropped flys and screaming
at the reffs for calling a good call, which don't happen all that often. --
What a great time. Sorta like womens beach vollyball, we would always be
watching for the unexpected, but cheering when it happened.
Oh well, so goes Ham Radio, we just in it for the fun. Thanks again for
the "heads up" and hope ya'all enjoy the sprint-contests, and "if ya can't
talk then don't answer my call." is my motto. Just want numbers and a
see'ya'later, call someone else. Like to put a little fire in them straight
keys, bugs and two wires coming out of the key-hole of the rig.
Thanks again, WB7NZI,,SOC number, uh, its written down here somewhere, --
Oh well, catch you on the next round. Frank.
