[SOC] no more OO's

In 36 years of being licensed, I recieved one OO notice (about 1988) for
operating in the extra portion of the 80 meter band while holding an
advanced ticket. The problem with the notice was that I was in California
the day the "violation" occurred and all of my equipment had been in
storage at my parents home in Virginia for about two years. I contacted the
OO over what I knew to be a mistake and his response was that I was lying,
he knew he heard me, and that he doesn't make mistakes. He then hung up on
me, leaving me with a lasting negative impression of the OO system. I am
sure that this jerk of an OO was the exception but my belief in the system
was permanently tarnished.
