It's a perfect time to build antennas that don't work, during "dead band
time." I do that all the time even when bands are open, I can say the band
isn't working in my favor, but it "might" be working. If I make a contact
with it, it goes into the trash and I start over. After all, isn't a Ham
Radio liscense a "tinker'ers liscense?" 

  Oh well, it was just a thought. I'll go back out to the garden and pull
weeds where belong.
