How many ways can I tell thee, let me count the ways..
Wasn't that a love poem or something, or about "silence on the bands??"
Mike,
You're a genius, you remember it more than I do.

Nothing better in the morning than a cup of coffee, a fresh chew and the
radio crackling with atmospheric bacon frying sounds.
--
Good morning to all the readers of the old soc club, er, excuse me, this
isn't a club, EEEeeegad, don't want this to "evolve" into an (ARRL EVENT),
shhhhh, I said that real quietly. -- But gotta tell ya, this is gonna be one
heck of a Winter. Not because of the weather, but because of the behavior of
old hams. Have a funny suspecion that they are going to capture a 2nd
dimension, not death, but something that will bend the concept of time into
a pretzel. -- Einstein, Lou Gerig, er, no, Gomez, Herkel and Heinz, Koestler
and Testla, Maxwell and Peter Dupont will all turn over in their grave, when
they learn about it. Slap themselves in the forehead and say, "why didn't I
think of that."
It will go something like this: One morning an old ham will be at his
station with a code key on one hand, a fork with scrambled egg in the other
about to his mouth. The forked egg will drop out of his hand into his coffee
and out pops a genie that says, "your antenna has to be so many cubits by so
many cubits," AND the rest will be History.
Smile a lot folks, we all need it.
soc1126WB7NZIFRANK. ( See, its started already, secret coded
confabulations. Watch out everybody, and stay away from the chew, it does
something to your brain.)
