[SOC] Ya'll going to Dayton ? ?

Dayton, where is that? Is that a foerign country? They keep mention it in
QST but I thought it was another DX country or something where they have
giant DX-pedition? What language do they talk there, Googleglish-flexbingly?
- It sounds like expensive trip just for free food. Besides, they don't
accept humans wearing hammerloop jeans and cut-off sleeve flannel shirts and
badly worn-out old hiking shoes with cow crap and duck poop all over them. -
I'm sure it is a foerign country. 
   John, don't waste your time, go fishing instead. I am. But always take
the portable ham rig and wire for in the trees. More fun anyway.

 I've never been myself, someday hope to make the pilgrimage to Ohio.
 From the rumors I've heard circulating here in Alaska about it, there's
banquets for each "group". Amsat, Qrp contester's, Dx'ers, Arrl section
mangers etc . . .

 Is it true that the powers that be down there send us members of the SOC
over to a bunch of vending machines for our "banquet" supper ?
