when was the last time i ran out of the basement and told my mom I TALKED
TO ALASKA TO ALASKA!!!! i did not really run out of the basement, i had a
two by three foot opening i had to crawl thorough, then i had to run
around the house to find her and then  shout etc etc.

i am still using the same ARC5 VFO i had back then, but where has the
excitement gone? That ARC5 VFO was state of the art...............
