And it's mighty fine to see successful testing (I think it passed, didn't it?) here on Ye Olde SOC mail thingy, too!
This has been a test. Had it been an actual SOC event (whatever that is), you would have been advised to tune your VFO to the next clear frequency and send a series of Vs, followed by your callsign, followed by random nonsense, followed by your SOC number, followed by your callsign, with the prosign AR.
The procedure for 'phone is entirely different. I think.
