i also have W8JK's book but never read to it anymore. (reading the
universe in a mirror right now)
passive radar? it that like greaseless butter?

helix as a directive antenna?
we used element modulation (varied the length of the elements to slow the
wave down on long yagis (100 elements) and sometimes tried "twisting" the
yagi for the same effect
back then i was more interested in figuring out how to catch a student
nurse or an home econ major...........
