[SOC] FOC/SOC, Site hacking, etc.

Gentlemen,

I'm hoping too many didn't take my tongue-in-cheek smart-alecky comment
about us not being the FOC too seriously. I agree: the site shouldn't
contain those exact words. They may be considered unfriendly or at best
in-your-face... Both inferences are not in keeping with the SOC's goofy
spirit. Too bad, I thought it was cute. But point taken.

In this modern world, with so many taking exception and/or finding fault
with just about everything, it's a pity that we even need to worry about
such things. E.g., a package of cheese I bought recently had this on its
label: "WARNING: Contains dairy." Holy cow!

So I personally really don't think it's necessary to include a disclaimer re
the FOC; I can't imagine anyone (outside of the SOC)(warning - the previous
comment within the parentheses is another tongue-in-cheek smart-alecky
comment) confusing the two organizations. But if we do, what we have now is
fine with me. Can't hurt...

See you up the log,

Ray N6HE

I vote yes for updating the site with the much more friendlier words of
"We're NOT the FOC. We're the SOC. If you don't understand that, you're in
the right place. If you do understand that, you're in the wrong place."
