Hello,
Several years ago I went to the Offshores Oil Technology convention at the
Houston Astrodome where seriously expensive and large and heavy equipment for
finding/reclaiming oil was on display. Right in the middle of that I saw a
full sized photo/poster of " the 'ol Man " himself, Hiram Percy Maxim.
Apparently his ( or his father's ) machine-gun silencer company still makes "
silencers, now for the very large EMD engines that power present day diesel
locomotives and the offshore drilling rigs.

Don't be surprised if they showed up. Price would probably $25 or more
each though I'll bet. Old Hiram bobble head would be more sought after
than "Wouff Hong" copies!!
