Joined up my self a while back ! All ways thought I was 'pretty close' 
to being a 'First Class Op'..(well, pretty close !)  Used a Nye-Viking 
Master Key on my SB-102 as a New Ham over 30yrs ago ! Sent 37wpm to the 
RI for my Advanced Ticket ! Worked a W6 who asked me what kind of PC I 
was using, as his C-64 was decoding me 100% ! Great Fist !
After 20+yrs using Vibroplex Iiambics..(Raid Kills Bugs Dead) told the 
wife one New Years Eve..we had no plans, so was going to try the ARRL SK 
Night ! Plugged in the 'dusty old Nye-Viking Straight Key'.. practiced 
up a bit using the rigs side tone..came out to the front room to watch 
the NYC Ball Drop with a 'blank stare on my face'..xyl asks "I thought 
you were going to play radio tonight" ?
Looked at her.. "There is No way in H.. I am going to go 'on the air' 
with that fist and embarrass myself like that !  If anyone ever 
says'Using a SK is like Riding a Bicycle..is an @#$hole' ! So.. 2nd 
Class..?  Yep !
