I have to agree with Mike.. With a lousy antenna and lack of an amp,
I find I have no trouble generating an instant pile-up on a dead band 

by signing 3C6KY.  Might as well be running a Calif KW to a stack!

how bright? maybe 25 watts or so, but i seem to have the signal strength
of a KW when i sign 3D2/W7DRA
