[SOC] CONTEST!! CONTEST!!

Wow Thomas

I think you have the theory.... The higher the DC potential difference, the brighter the light. So if you reduce the voltage down it glows less brightly, until at zero the is no light. Carry on beyond that with negative potential and it must radiate progressively darker (shadows).

A former colleague G0WYP had an alternate theory, based upon the theory that light bulbs are in fact "Dark Suckers", and that what is seen as light, is the residue of energy produced when the dark enters the sucking element (ref - "event horizon"). This would also seem to work in your theory, since under reverse polarity the previously sucked dark would now be re-radiated. It's a bit like "Magic Smoke", which as we all know makes all electronic components work and once it leaks out they stop working. Light bulbs are a special case in that the magic smoke is kept in a "bottle" and hence is always available for re-absorption into the working element. They only stop working when the smoke condenses on the inside of the bottle (black or grey deposit) and therefore cannot be absorbed back into the element.

I hope that helps,

but I doubt it.

So if I have a DC circuit with a light bulb and the bulb is creating light, if I reverse the polarity will it cast shadows? Or am I in the dark about light? soc at mailman.qth.net

Hi David

Ah! Now I was under the impression that as a result of Quantum Entanglement the speed of dark was equal and opposite to the speed of light. Also that the speed of heavy is inversely proportional to the mass of the total number of Higgs Bosons in the generating medium.

That all depends on the speed of dark versus the speed of light!
