Speaking for myself:  It's fun for me - and I know from experience that 
it's fun for the majority of members that I've contacted in the past. 
Not so much a curve as having fun and providing amusement for FOC members.

Again, poor choice of words (after all, I AM second class).
Wasn't proposing a campaign to change their contest, but since it's 
"open", we can make our SOC presence known - especially now with five 
SOC club calls.

Probably more foot in mouth disease opening more comments for criticism.
