Hello everyone. The unknown SOC Secretary said I could introduce myself, so
I'll take him/her up on that kind offer.

In order to not be redundant, repeat myself, or say things over and over
again, I'll simply say that my name is Chip, my call is W9EBE, I'm 58 years
old (59 in January 2014, no gifts, please), and have been a ham since 1970.
I'm a CW nut. Or just plain nut -- just ask my XYL. I guess the best way to
find out more about me, see a photo of my shack (both present day and my
prehistoric Novice station), view my mug shot, and learn of the other
organizations to which I belong (if they haven't booted me out yet) is to
check out my QRZ page. Or not. It's up to you. That way I won't be
redundant, repeat myself, or say things over and over again here that I
already said there. Can you dig it?

Thank you, SOC, for allowing this warped-sense-of-humored,
SSB/AM/FM/PSK/RTTY, etc. reject to join the ranks of distinguished
operators. Or, is that distinguished rank operators? From what I've read so
far from the SOC email list thingy, I can see that I'm in good company.

Okay, now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

73,

Chip W9EBE
