Heh, that is pretty grim

Of course, these guys would never think of using CW.

I'm neither pro, nor anti CW - aside from thinking it's really cool, but being pretty deaf, with two separate tinnitus tones, one in each ear, I'm pretty proud of being able to learn it at all. Took several months to become barely proficient. My brain appears to process sound differently from normal people, which means I need a fair CW signal to read it. Background noise gets the same weighting as the sound I'm trying to hear. Then again, maybe that comes from 35 plus years of marriage…..

But if I was normal, I probably wouldn't be hear, um, I mean here.
