HI Guys

When I was after my licence the powers that be would only issue call-signs in sequence my suffix should have been DOE, not too good on CW, and they had already passed it....... SO I requested EVA  first 3 of surname which now means the prefix takes 2 weeks on QRSS, and then if you blink the rest is gone!

A lot of newer Hams like to get their initials when they get a vanity callsign. Like if it were me, I might be K3MJC. When I got my vanity callsign, I went for a nice short one, one that wasn't too awful on CW, and I got N3LI whne it came up. All those initial loving Hams were a-scratchin' their heads, and couldn't figure out what the heck I was trying to do with a silly callsign like N3LI.

I'd recruit them for SOC, but they think they are too smart for that.
