[SOC] complaining

You bet! Even though I always carefully tune my BC-459 to approximately 40
meters there's always a crybaby criticizing my sig. One of them said my CW
sounded, "like someone with rubber boots running through a muddy swamp."
Whatta lid!

Come to think of it, he was a SOC member.

Subject: [SOC] complaining

you know this list is a good place to complain about anything......i get on
the air (80m mainly rock bound now) because if i use a VFO (arc5 or homebrew
depending) everybody complains that i am drifting or have a chirp or
something that doesn't matter to me in the least.

and they wont just say "569C' or something like that they go on and on and
on about what my signal sounds like and that i should send my rig in to get
it fixed by a professional.

you dont think i know what my signal sounds like? hey, if i get most of my
power supply energy out on somewhat the VFO frequency or a harmonic i
consider myself lucky
