[SOC] First Wednesday CCA AM Night......question

I have an ICOM IC-730 that I apparently bought as a birthday gift
to myself in 1981. Used it a lot on CW in those days, hardly ever on SSB,
and never on AM although the manual says it will do that at 40 watt output.
I have not used it for many years since I inherited a TenTec Omni-D about
10 years ago from the estate of a SK.
A few years ago I tried to crank the ICOM down to QRP output, but could not
(or did not know how) so I bought a TenTec R4020 for QRP.  Of course the
Omni will do that also.
But I will pass on the invite to join the AM crowd on 75 meters even though
I apparently have the capability.
