I have to agree with Jim ,,

Also no jokes regarding blondes, deep thoughts, children, religious, redneck,
yo mama, lawyer, female, one liners, male, animal, age, death, marriage,
Michael Jackson, doctor, drinking, Obama (well maybe...), gay, little Johnny,
knock knock, sick and G.W.Bush...

Let's keep the posts on track with only SOC topics, which at the moment
I can't think of any...

Her father shot it dead.
Now it goes to school with her
Between two chunks of bread.

Hans, Art, John, and the group,

My response to the original post was a subtle attempt to turn the originator's
"joke" around, to make the originator realize that, perhaps his post was
inappropriately placed on this reflector. Apparently, I was too subtle, for it
caused an even more intensely rabid response to be posted.

To be less subtle...

Election "jokes" should not be posted on Amateur Radio email groups whose
primary purpose is to exchange humor (or humour, for those who speak the Queen's

English). There are people of all strains of politics included in our
membership, regardless of nationality, What one faction may see as funny,
others may take as a slap in the face. Please, exert a little self censorship
before hitting the "send" button and think "if someone said this or something
similar about my preferred candidate, would I think it was so funny?" If the
answer is no, hit the delete key instead.
