[SOC] A SOC Question

The two tuners are not being used at the same time!!!! - or do you mean
place? One tunes the input to the linea to make sure the the rig looks
into 50 ohms and the second one tunes the aerial to the linear which
also makes the linear look into 50 ohms. Both are therefore maximising
power transfer and reducing any high standing waves between pieces of
equipment.
You may well be able to disable the K2 tuner if the input impedence of
the linear is 50 ohms - but if it isn't then run the tuner. There is
absolutely no problem with running two ATU's in that configuration.

My surgery will be open at the normal time.
