Firstly. I've have never downloaded email straight away for probably
over ten years. I use an excellent program called "Mailwasher". I don't
know if the free one is still available. After using it for awhile I
willingly purchased the Pro version. I delete emails in "Mailwasher"
THEN download mail to my PC.

Secondly, anyone using Microsoft as an operating system and, that would
be the majority of us. can get "Microsoft Security Essentials" for FREE.

I swear by it. I only saw it work once on a site I visited and it went
ballistic.

You have two options only. "KILL" what it doesn't like or, allow your PC
to remain in limbo until the next century. I've set it to do a scan
around 9:00 a.m. every day in the background while I'm working but, it
never finds anything.

I recommend both. No, I don't use Outlook, never have, I prefer
Thunderbird. I use IE8 for some browsing and Firefox for others.

"Microsoft Security Essentials":

And no I don't want to waste time on a pointless Microsoft Vs whoever
else debate.

Thanks! :) 72/73's
