There aren't any mooses in europe, they're an American animal.

Tell whomever he is to go to the library and read about mammals in Northern
Europe. There are so many moose shot in Sweden each year that the amount of
meat has an impact on the national budget. Also moose in Norway and Finland.
Also what the heck have I been shooting and hauling out of the woods in
Sweden if not moose ? Scandinavian moose is a little, but a little only,
smaller than the American tribe, mainly because they are shot younger.
Shooting moose is close to being a Swedish national sport. We had a story
circulating during the cold war about the Russian spy who adviced his
masters to not invade Sweden during the moose shooting season because in
that period armed men lurked behind every tree in the forest.
To top it tell the guy that he may go Whitetail hunting in Finland, not
because the whitetail is native to Finland but because the Finns imported
live Whitetails many years ago to have a decent size deer to hunt.
