Hi Sam

I have heard of spurious emissions & harmonic emissions, but not Donkey emissions!

Is there another radio use for donkeys apart from carrying the boat anchor equipment I have not come across?

Hello,

If I cut it for 5 MHz, it would be calibrated againse WWV for more accuracy!

Wait! I may have one for top band already - but it I take my barbed wire fence
down to only two wires, my donkeys might get out!

HI

Wow Sam - have you tried constructing a home made Lecher Line. One for Top
band will be really enormous and absolutely accurate (although you have to do
the math from the length measured - still: competence is not expected!)

If you want to make one for Microwave bands they would range from quite small
to tiny - allowing a pocket version to be constructed.

You could be the envy of all those at FOC.

I leave you to work out the details as they are way beyond me. I read vast
amounts of wordage about Ham Radio, but never do any, or understand much of
what I read either.

P.S. Anyone though about organising a "Bent Key Night"?

Hello,

I would appreciate a copy, either paper or as an attachment of the article in
December 1950 CQ Magazine on the BC-221 frequency meter. One must use the
latest methods, techniques and standards in measuring our frequencies!

I will gladly pay for copying and postage.

Thnaks & 73,
