I appreciate this reassuring test except, what if I was facing east at  
the moment of the pole reversal?  I have spent the last few hours  
attempting to function normally while continuing to face north but  
there have been some issues.

Is it likely that, in the event of facing east (or, indeed, west) at  
the moment of reversal I will a) perish or b) simply fall over sideways?
