Instead of a daily digest can you set up a mail filter where all the messages that have [SOC] in the subject header get sent to a folder where they don't clog up your inbox?

I see you are using gmail.  I've done something similar with my gmail account but gmail does things slightly differently than everyone else.. Gmail uses the term "labels" instead of calling them folders or directories. When you understand that, it becomes much easier to understand their help files.
