No, but sounds like a splendid idea for a new contest, The SOC Quartz Test!

Who may participate: Only those operating crystal controlled transmitters are eligible to participate.

Purpose of contest: To see if those old crystals will still oscillate.

Call "CQ Quartz Test" on phone or "CQ QT" on CW.

Promotional slogan: "Take those old crystals off the shelf, I'll sit and transmit with them by myself" or "Get your rocks on Route 66"

Suggested frequencies: 3566 kHz, 7066 kHz, 14.066 kHz, 21.066 kHz, 28.066 kHz.

We have to move fast on this idea before it gets stolen by those "ESE" folks. They'll grab the idea and call it the "Barbershop Quartz Test"
