[SOC] poisson

as i remember it, you sit in a room staring with a telepbone. you mark
down the time it has been since the last call 

do this for  a relivant number of calls (1000 calls?, 3.57 years?)

x axis time, y-axis shows number of calls at each delta time

of course wikipedia says it all. ....................... The law of rare
events
