I agree, Mike, but what ever happened to avoiding religion and politics amongst us Hams?  That way, you can remain friendly and not get into pissing matches....seems to be a good choice to me, but then I am only ONE person in this group (and may I add, one person in a shrinking membership!).  Amateur Radio is the great escape for many people and I have watched great discussion lists like this one deteriorate into all out flame wars, because one side or another decides, "screw everyone else, MY opinion matters to me....and it should matter to you, to!"  Well guess what, Mike, your opinion MAY matter to me, or it may NOT.  But to drag religion and politics through the proverbial streets of our discussion list is not only wrong, it is tasteless and frankly I am sick of seeing people leave our list because of the afore mentioned pseudo intellectuals!

So be it....if this kind of crap continues, I will not be a party to it.  We do NOT need a moderator, but we DO need a modicum of decency amongst ourselves.  Sadly, we are short on that at this time.

That's all I have to say on the matter, and if things continue to deteriorate, I WILL vote with my feet and get the hell OFF this lst!  For all of the great people I have met here, I will miss that camaraderie.
