Long time QRPer and DXer Hank K8DD (SK) is worthy of a memorial event but I don't know if he was an SOC member or not.

SOC Members now hold four SOC club calls:
W0SOC (Bob Roske, N0UF)
W1SOC (Bob Patten, N4BP)
W5SOC (John Schneider, K7UP)
M0SOC (Ryan Pike, G5CL)
It is my hope that we can activate all four in the next FOC event.
Personally, I had a blast in the FOC QSO Party last month using W1SOC.
The SOC Marathon Sprints were canceled due to lack of participation.
But it is my further hope that we can initiate a new SOC event in the
same tradition as the FOC's Bill Windle QSO Party. Suggestions as to a
fellow SOCer who has become a SK that we might honor with such an event?
Ryan further suggested just now that we hold our event on the closest
Saturday to April 1st. I'm thinking of a 24 hour event from 0000Z
Saturday to 0000Z Sunday (7PM Fri to 7PM Saturday EST).

I am very pleased to announce that as of today's date, SOC
has a new call sign to add to its already very proud fleet. Those
lovely people at Ofcom here in the UK have just issued me with 'M0SOC'
so we can now spread the word over this side of the pond (for further
details, please visit QRZ.com!)
Can wait
for the next FOC CW event!
