This is one of the hardest email's I've ever written.

Early this morning, Hank Kohl, K8DD passed away from respiratory 
complications in the ICU of Henry Ford (Detroit) Hospital.  Hank had 
surgery in early October for an aortic aneurysm and then developed an 
infection.

Hank was a good friend and an elmer for me when I lived in Michigan.  
Many of you met him at our Orlando luncheon the past few years.  He was 
a great CW operator and loved contesting.  I'm sure many of you worked 
him and his friend Stan, AC8W from YN, PZ, HK1 and many other DX spots.

Keep Hank and his family in your prayers.
