[SOC] QST Editorial - 6 meters and a scarred childhood

Plasmas around me will pretty much wipe out the hf bands. Noise goes up to S9. I learned this the hard way early one morning when I was operating and my son turned on my plasma. I now know which neighbors have them, and if I look out the window and see them on, I pretty much know not to bother turning on the radio.

It is now Reverse TVI........or IVT for SOC'ers :-)

The new plasma TVs are worse at interference than I think we
ever were on 6 meters. Any one else heard this complaint, also?
