Hi Walter,
Look into FGMNX for stability and yield, although it is now at an all time high
and it's backed by the US Gov.
 
And yes CD rates are low and so is inflation (for now).

Your Mom was right........I remember hearing that saying, also!
Glad this thread got some airing. But, guys, this is only the very
tiny tip of the iceberg of problems. Lots of folks that I know are
really hurting with this economy and all this new political correctness
that has evolved has just made folks even more on the mad side.

Ha.....just looked at the CD rates for 1 yr. 1.54% now what kinda
deal is that? Retirement is not what it used to be!
