Well, one does tend to go with what one is familiar with. If I were to  
expand outside the US borders, I'd have to go with Benny HIll.

Would Jerry Lewis be acceptable for the Francophiles? He's 'merican,  
but from what I understand, very popular in France.

Or do we have to nominate someone we've never heard of?
