 From memory, this list is under "Mailman" software.

Digest is entirely possible.

The people in charge of the list have absolutely NO ACCESS to the 
"Mailman" settings on the QTH server.

They are one more level down. That is important.

Now if I could remember the passwords etc. to this list [I and others 
once had them] I could offer a more sensible answer.

Maybe Erv, or the unknown Secretary could offer more.

While not entirely impossible, I'd be surprised "digest" wasn't on offer.
