The reason no one is directly answering your question is because we avoid
religious things on this reflector.  The real answer is that SOC was started
by God, who then changed the bylaws to their present form.

I always wondered about this matter.... how do you start a club that
requires nominations from existing club members?

 

In reverse, it is like SURVIVOR tv show where the contestants vote off one
person each episode.  However, what about the last two people.... if each of
the two votes for the other to go, it is a tie and no one can possibly be
the last man standing.

 

SOCers think about these things......
