We just started up a local Amateur Radio "Society" (NOT a club), based 
on the same principles.  No officers, no dues, no politics, no bull ... 
just get a bunch of folks together to teach and learn something new, 
share the camaraderie of ham radio, and have fun doing so.

Hmmm ... we need SOC membership for "groups"!!
