The first question was where did Dvorak and QWERTY come from etc.Second question was i.d. this "Correct as usual, King Friday."Several Amps responders, clearly good candidates for SOC (Second Class Operators Club, only they spell it Secondclass Operators Club, with the spelling, and only the spelling, like FOC, "Firstclass" Operators Club), won the QWERTY and the "Correct as usual, King Friday" contest. Two slogans I cant get out of my little pointed head.... the "correct King Fri" one and "Amazing Thailand" a tourist promotion slogan here... and BELIEVE ME, it is Amazing Thailand... every day, like when the motorbike zips one foot into place in front of your front bumper at 100KPH... and lives!de HS0ZCW, proud member #... uh uh, uh.... oh well, of "SCOC" !!!PS: The AMPS guys, uncharacteristically got with the humor and no one yet has told me that this stuff does not belong on AMPS reflector, but that reflector easily wins the "way way too many follow-up comments on a previous comment" contest..... hands down! Example, maybe at least 186,000 follow up comments on how much air to pass over tubes adequately (or excessively) to cool them. My response, "If tube burns out, there was too little air flow" did not win ME any prizes, you betcha.
More.... what is the importance of the number 186,000 and what is it measuring really?
