I think that if you got the adv with 13WPM you will never be a no code extra.
I am a "Know code Extra" 1994 20WPM
my wife, NE1F is a "Slow code Extra" 2003 5WPM
I also know some "No code Extra" ops. I have seen several come through VE sessions (came in for Tech and left with Extra)
The Extra spectrum is way worth it. Lots of DX ops in the Extra portion both on CW and SSB
