[SOC] William Shatner nominated to honorary SOC membership!

I was a friend of his late wife.  Once when i saw her in Roslindale, MA
(part of Boston)  I told her that she was the most beautiful woman I had
ever seen - she was not sure about going to try out for a TV ad.  She got
the part - it was her that smelled her man's shirt - when it came out from
the dryer.  It was a commercial for Downy.

She was a beautiful woman and in each photograph she always looked
differently, but as beautiful, bright and sexy as she was she had a insane
part that tormented her and in the end won out.   They found her dead,
drunk, and at the bottom of her and Bill's swimming pool in 1999.

She found another comforter - and it was the comforter that ultimately stole
from her.  She found alcohol and she found out that she was an alcoholic,
and for many years she kept her sobriety - but in the end the insane urge
that "it will be OK this time" returned, she drank and died.

Such a shame.

She loved the sound of Morse code and thought that doing CW mobile was very
very cool.
