I've been looking for a product once common.  Seems nobody in this state
remembers it any more, even though most consumer outlets carried it not more
than six months ago.  A trip to los angeles resulted in a few of this item.

I call the manufacturer, they still make it, but don't sell retail.

They refer me to one of their distributors.  They don't sell retail, BUT,
give me the name address and phone number of a store an hours drive from
here.

I call the store and give them the part number.  No problem, they have it.
Great!  How much?

"It is this stores policy to not provide prices".

"Really?  I'll keep that in mind when I smear dog-shit on the doorknob of
the employees entrance!"
