Now the way I understand it is, the AFDB can also be used as an antenna for
your HT when at a hamfest. One can make it a stealth antenna just by wearing
a ball cap with your call-sign on it.

Then again, this would go against all the rules and principals of a SOC.

Then again, do SOC's have rules and principals as it relates to radio
operations?

So many questions, so little time.
