Hi Tom: N4ESS has a company in Tampa called Expanded Spectrum Systes. He has many ham band crystals for sale and they are very reasonable. I buy small quantities from him often. Great service.

For a Manhatten style QRP xmtr take a look at Kanga USA. They have a kit of parts for a manhaatten style xmtr that first appeared in Jly 2006 QST and was designed by W7ZOI. I have built this xmtr and it works fb.

Good luck--73

Hi,
Can anyone point me towards a inexpensive source for a small order of just
a few crystals?  I'm thinking of trying my hand at a basic Manhattan style
qrp transmitter (I haven't decide which one to try yet) and I'm sure I'll be
needing a crystal or two for 7.030, maybe 7.040 and 14.060 (anything else?).

Also if anyone has any suggestions for an entry level xmtr that might lends
itself to Manhattan style building (for a guy who  1) is on the SOC list and
2) has fat finger and old eyes), I'd appreciate that too.

Tnx in advance
Tom
