Err John,

And you are quite correct.

The issue isn't whether I stay, it's an issue whether we lower the boom
on folks who have gone beyond the pale, even by SOC standards.

We don't abide "name calling". We may talk rubbish among ourselves but
we don't personally denigrate fellow amateurs.

That's pretty simple. That's pure fact.

What I may have clumsily tried to allude to was:

In true SOC fashion, I'm one of a number of moderators of this List. In
my memory, since day one, we've never taken action to sanction anyone.

BUT there's always a first.

If it get's out of control here, when respected members leave, I and
others need to act. A small fact lots of newcomers forget.

That's where we are at. At the present I have no reason to contact him,
the "list God", himself as such. Remember him? He pays all the bills
so that this list continues. He's also a very good mate of mine from
over a decade back.

Quoting "Chuck Adams" from the olden day QRP-L list from a 100 years back...

"Just remember, who has the keys to the mens locker and the paddock?".

Smart Cats here know what I'm saying and why.
