Errr Erv unless I miss my guess that was someone quoting our long time 
friend "Ham Joel" and his distinctive way of sending emails. The 
"freezing in Maine" signature must have been truncated.

Been doing it for well over a decade. I believe in real life he's an 
absolute scream and an absolute gentleman.

Some of his posts on QRP-L [old one] from years back are absolute gems.
