[SOC] Done with it.

Enough already! It's always been difficult to join SOC. You have to meet the requirements. And the requirement is to sign up on the website no matter how confusing the site may be. That's the way I did it and everyone else should have to do it the same way. Well, I must confess I did need some help from one or two of the SOC head honchos who finally gave up trying to explain how to do it in a long series of private email messages. They were the ones who kindly put me on the roster manually instead of my use of the website procedure.

Let's not get all politically correct and try to dumb down SOC. We've already had enough of that in ham radio.

Best regards,
Phil - K9FH, SOC#753
