Maybe we can make this a "sticky". But since I have been told that I
can tell a person to go spend eternity with the devil in such a way
that they might look forward to the trip, I'll step up and make a fool
of myself and try to explain.
Going to the home page at http://www.qsl.net/soc/
You'll see two Logos, each with a straight key in the center, an SOC
on the top, an AGN below, the logos are surrounded by more SOC
codswallop.
Immediately below is the club logo "Because so few are really first
class
a line
Then some wisdom from Chris .
Below this is the word Membership in all caps, with a festive gold
metallic motif.
Mash that "Membership" word with gusto, and you'll be presented with a
email form to send off to the club. You'll probably want to enter your
name in the place where it say "name" and callsign it the space where
it says callsign. Unless your name is Name of course
It is possible that the issue lies not within anyone's obtuseness, but
perhaps that your browser is not set up to send email from within. In
some browsers, an email form will come up, yet it will stubbornly stay
put, because the browser might not have been set up with the needed
server incantations. In that case, I'd just use your regular email
program to send an email to soc at qsl.net, put your name and callsign in
it, and hope for the best.
You've come this far, you cannot quit now Pete. What would Shackleton
do?
